Great concept, simple but detailed enough, templates are very useful, lots of new things for me. Maybe you could create something like time plan for implementation with workshops, descriptions, participants and deliverables from workshops to have a clear picture about actual work needs to be done, phases, recommended duration all in one place. From my point of view, everyone who is involved in any kind of data activity should take this course, it will definitely help figure out why Data Governance program is important, and why organizations need it.

This training course is excellent, and providing a valuable insights and practical advice in Data Governance.

I was basically thrown into a position where my team was given the task of helping our client at the VA to stand up data governance at the enterprise level. You can read as many books as you want, pass as many certification exams, etc, but that by no means makes you an expert. Having someone break down things that could work, things that have caused failure, and learning points put a good spin on the information.

Great course! Fits in well and expands my consulting background in IT Security & Audit, Data Privacy and now Data Governance.

I loved this course, because it is different than the theoretical courses that assume all would go okay according to the plan. George did a wonderful work explaining what can go wrong and why in every step, with the reasons and actions to take. I wish there were a few use cases or examples of datasets showing how the assessment or implementation can be done, but overall I am very satisfied and would recommend it to everyone. In addition to being a data governance training, this program also covers project management and change management.

This was the perfect course for understanding what Data Governance is and what it is not in a one stop shop. The pace was perfect and the style of videos with supporting slides and at times supporting documents made it extremely easy to follow. This was a perfect course in my opinion.

I found the course be well built and guided me through the different steps of data governance implementation. Working with data governance for years most of this knowledge was not new to me but I believe that the help in reenforcing this knowledge and expanding it to parts I didn't yet work with, will help me improve in future assignments. The materials included in the course are just the right length, generally 5 to 10 minute video lessons, very good production quality and cover the right breadth of information. It's a great program and provides value at a reasonable cost, so I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about DG, as well as the basics of how to implement their DG program.

I really enjoyed the course, so much really useful information for the practical implementation of Data Governance, in particular really great templates. I also really like the emphasis on the people side, change management and how to manage different types of people.

Great content and a best course to get a clear understanding of the Data Governance program. The lessons and modules are clearly segregated and curated. George's explanation to these chapters are much clear to get a detailed view.

This course covers everything you need to know in order to get started and set up your data governance program. The courses were detailed enough, and I found the total length of this course to be just right. I took notes on every video and now have my own written handbook/quick reference guide.

George delivers high quality material, information, and explanations. I loved the explanation of the operating model, doing the ad-hoc assessment, and how all of that ties in to building your strategy, TOR, and scope documents. He also helped make Principles, Policies, and Standards practical and tangible for me.

I've already used some learnings to guide my customers on best practices, and can be more prescriptive in my guidance. I also have this course to point them to in order to learn more.

I would recommend this course to anyone who is familiar with the theory, but needs to get the ball rolling and wants to know where to actually start, and what specifically to do.

This course was excellent, 5 stars! I feel like I have walked away with a really solid understanding of what DG is, why it is important and the value it can add. I now have a broad understanding of what a program can entail and how to get started. The lessons on managing change and people were unexpected but I believe possibly the most valuable part of this course and can be applied to any topic, not just data governance. I also loved George's delivery style and felt the enthusiasm and passion which made me very engaged for the entire course.

The length and quality of the course is just perfect. I personally loved the Bonus section - very crisp. Apart from that it is hard to pick as it was beyond my expectation and it truly lived up to its title. The section that I struggled with was Business Glossary , Data Dictionary and Data Catalog. The concept was well explained, but I missed a bit of visual representation of how these 3 hold together . Overall I would say it is a great course and would highly recommend it.
